Mansfield MP Ben Bradley has been elected chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Sport.

It meets regularly in Westminster to discuss issues affecting sport at every level — from grassroots clubs to elite competition.

Ben said: “I hope to use this position to push forward proposals on opening up the huge number of sport and leisure facilities in our schools for use by the community, as well as ideas on more effective ways to invest in new facilities.”
