What’s on over half-term

Information about a range of leisure, cultural and fun activities to keep the family entertained in Mansfield throughout the half-term holiday is available in a What’s On guide.

Mansfield District Council, Mansfield Museum, Mansfield District Leisure Trust and Four Seasons Shopping Centre are putting on a wide range of FREE and low cost events and activities to keep the whole family entertained over the autumn half-term holiday.

The council’s guide includes information about activities from 24 October until 30 October at Mansfield Museum, leisure centres, as well as a family-friendly show at Mansfield Palace Theatre, sports activities and arts and crafts.

Mansfield Museum’s latest exhibition ‘Pirates, Pants and Wellyphants – The illustrated World of Nick Sharratt’ will still be on show during the half-term holidays until 12 November for children to meet a host of characters illustrated by Nick, including Tracy Beaker, Daisy, Hetty Feather and Pirate Pete. Families can also find out about his childhood and what inspired him to become an artist.

The guide gives the full schedule including dates, times and locations and is available to download from www.mansfield.gov.uk/whatson

The council’s Christmas What’s On guide will be merged with the My Mansfield magazine and delivered to homes across the district from 31 October, or you can pick up a copy from community venues or download it online.
