Free Halloween fun at Four Seasons

Posted onPosted on 17th Oct

There will be free family fun at the Four Seasons Shopping Centre, Mansfield, next week, when the popular Buzzy B Club returns for a day of free, creepy creature-themed fun in time for half-term.

On Tuesday, 25 October, the children’s club will be taking a close look at bearded dragons, snakes and chameleons in the run-up to Halloween, when creatures from Willow Tree Farm visit the centre.

“Our Buzzy B Club is always a big hit, and this Tuesday’s event is the perfect way for parents to let the kids burn off some energy during half-term week,” said Rebekah O’Neill, Centre Manager at Four Seasons. “Our mascot Buzz will be on hand as ever, to take part in the fun activities and pose for pictures with children and parents alike.”

As well as learning all about the different creatures, children will be making their own slug traps to take home and use in the garden. The first 100 children to come along to the special Halloween Buzzy B Club will also receive a fantastic free spider lolly, and to coincide with the free children’s club there will be a special ‘Slug Hunt’ held on the same day, with a £25 shopping voucher up for grabs.

“We’re hiding 10 slugs in shop windows throughout the centre,” said Rebekah, “and anyone who finds all of them can enter their name in the free prize draw.”

Now in its 8th year, the hugely popular Buzzy B Club has a regular programme of activities throughout the year, each with a different theme and usually including a craft workshop so that children are able to take something away with them.

The Buzzy B Club, for children aged 3 to 11, will run from 11am to 3pm on Tuesday, 25 October. The club is held in centre square, and admission is free.
