Dakota Digital nominated for top business award

Mansfield-based PR and digital agency, Dakota Digital, has been nominated for a business award for its work with other brands after seeing off competition from hundreds of thousands of potential candidates.

The Business Whisperer award will be handed out at an awards ceremony in London next week as the on-demand marketplace PeoplePerHour celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The online workplace has shortlisted three potential winners for the award, factoring in criteria such as reputation, feedback, response times and the number of clients worked with.

The winner will be announced on Thursday, 26 October at a party at iconic London venue, The Sanctum Soho Hotel. The celebrations will see a total of six awards handed out to businesses and individuals.

Rebecca Appleton, managing director of Dakota Digital, which is based on White Hart street in Mansfield, said: “It’s an honour to be nominated for the Business Whisperer award and we are so pleased to be shortlisted given the strength of the competition.

Founded by Rebecca in 2011, Dakota Digital’s portfolio includes projects for global brand names such as Listerine, Calpol, Neutrogena, Acuvue and Sudafed, alongside work for entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs. It has more than doubled its workforce in the last 18 months and recently added a second office to accommodate agency expansion.
