The Evolve Trust, which runs The Brunts Academy and The Beech Academy in Mansfield and The Bramble Academy in Mansfield Woodhouse, scooped a national award for delivering outstanding strategic careers leadership for its students.

The Careers and Enterprise Company held the awards ceremony at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield, to celebrate the work at a local level by employers, schools and careers and enterprise providers.

The trust’s chief executive, Claire-Marie Cuthbert, (right), said: “We believe in creating opportunities for all our students, encouraging them to believe in themselves and develop skills needed to succeed and enjoy life.

“We work tirelessly to deliver a strategic approach to careers and enterprise education. We are honoured that this has been recognised on a national level.”

Berni Dickinson, director of marketing and community engagement, said: “We are working closely with the local business community to recruit employers to support other schools to develop their strategic careers plans.”
