Chamber marketing award for firm

Full-service marketing agency Purpose Media is celebrating another award win after picking up the East Midlands Chamber’s Marketing Campaign of the Year award for Derbyshire.

The South Normanton-based firm collected the award at a black-tie dinner at the 3aaa County Ground, Derby.

It scooped the honour for a multi-channel sales campaign earlier this year, which resulted in one of its biggest client wins.

The campaign was centred around a creatively-packaged direct mailing to 100 hand-picked prospects across the East Midlands, backed by PR and blogs, direct email, social media posts and press advertising.

Purpose Media managing director Matt Wheatcroft said: “This award win is special.

“We have won several awards over the years in recognition of our business performance, but to get another award that recognises our strengths in marketing – after being named as the Derby Telegraph’s Creative Business of the Year, in June – is fantastic.

“It was a real team effort to get this campaign right.

“We specialise in using technology and marketing to help our clients deliver memorable experiences, so we are delighted to have our approach recognised by the Chamber.”
