Interactive experiences, hands-on demonstrations, and a chance to engage with the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force is promised at the Armed Forces Mansfield Town Show.

Taking place in Mansfield Market Place on 26th and 27th July, from 9.30am to 5pm, the free event will feature military equipment, vehicles and aircraft; physical and mental challenges; and live music and performances by a military band.

There will also be opportunities to explore career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and maths with Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force experts.

A spokesperson said: “Whether you are a military enthusiast, a curious explorer, or simply looking for a fun family outing, this event has something for everyone.

“From exploring the equipment of the Armed Forces, to testing your reflexes in high-energy sports challenges, there’s something for everyone.

“This is a unique opportunity to experience the Armed Forces up close, get involved in interactive activities, and meet the people behind the uniform.
