Posted onPosted on 27th Feb

Two long-standing Mansfield and District Male Voice Choir members have been recognised for their loyalty.

At the choir’s annual meeting, chairman Geoff Hursthouse and publicity officer Geoff Mansfield saw their efforts with the award-winning choir over the past 20 years rewarded.

They were presented with special certificates by choir president David Marriott to mark their long service in front of appreciative members.

Their first concert of the 2025 season is at The Hill Methodist Church, Kirkby, on 5th April, when the choir will be joined by Novadi, a Latvian ladies’ choir.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from male voice choir secretary Eileen Lawrence, on 01623 455373, and from Karen Grice, of The Hill Methodist Church, on 01623 758242.
