Christmas tea dance for people with dementia

A Christmas Tea Dance supported by the Ashfield and Mansfield Dementia Action Alliance is being held at the Regency Ballroom, Sutton, on Sunday, 8th December.

Although it is aimed at people living with dementia, the dance is open for anyone who would benefit – and could become a regular event.

A spokesman said: “Get into the Christmas spirit with an opportunity to socialise, dance and have a go at easy dance instruction. It is ideal for beginners and people with additional needs.”

There will be free refreshments for participants, including sandwiches, mice pies, tea and coffee.

Doors will open at 1.30pm and the event will run from 2pm to 4pm.

For more information or to book a place call the Regency Ballroom on 01623 552737 or 07947 813328.

Places must be booked by 1st December.
