There is an action-packed programme of events at Nottinghamshire County Council’s country parks for English Tourism Week next week and the forthcoming Easter season.
English Tourism Week runs to April 6 and there are some key events me at Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve and Rufford Abbey Country Park. #ETW14 is the hashtag Experience Nottinghamshire is using to promote the week of events.
Events include:
Rufford, Saturday, 5th April–Monday, 21st April, 11am to 3.30pm, Easter Egg Hunt, £1 per trail leaflet, £3 car parking charge at weekends and bank holidays.
Edwinstowe, Saturday, 5th–Monday, 21st April, 11am-3pm, Robin Hood’s Easter Trail, Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, £1 per trail from Visitor Information and £3 car parking charge at weekends and bank holidays.
Edwinstowe, Sunday, 6th April, noon, 2pm and 3.30pm, The Legend lives on! Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, free, £3 car parking charge. Costumed characters from the Oakwood Outlaws demonstrate medieval combat skills.
Rufford, Saturday, 5th April–Monday, 21st April, 11am-3.30pm, Easter Egg Hunt, £1 per trail leaflet, £3 car parking charge at weekends and bank holidays.
