Fundraisers Di Milner and Margaret Howlett have presented a cheque for £3,300 to pupils at Fountaindale School (pictured).

The money donated to the Mansfield specialist SEN school was the proceeds raised in 2018 by the duo’s George’s Army fundraising stall.

The money will be used to support a forest school, where pupils take part in woodland-based activities, and provide new outdoor play equipment.

Di and Margaret, who also run lucky dip bag stalls, said: “Thank you to ROMO, Mansfield Marquees, Crystal Knitwear and companies further afield for supplying materials that are made into personal and household accessories sold on the stall.

“A big thank you also to a group of very supportive friends.”
