Opticians reaches out to help charity

Posted onPosted on 11th Feb

Pinders Opticians, which has five practices in Mansfield, Warsop, New Ollerton and Southwell, raised £3,660.66 for charity in 2018.

The independent opticians supported Reach Learning Disability, an organisation that helps people with learning disabilities in Nottinghamshire.

Each year, Pinders selects a different local charity or not-for-profit organisation to support for 12 months.

To raise funds for Reach in 2018, Pinders organised a range of events throughout the year, including a book sale, raffle and a fashion show.

“2018 was a phenomenal year for us and we had a lot of fun raising all that money for Reach in the process,” said Peter Herniman, director at Pinders Opticians.

“A big thank you to Reach and my super Pinders team for a great collaborative effort.

“We are looking forward to doing it all over again this year.”
