The John Eastwood Hospice Trust, which is getting ready to celebrate its 30th year, is to open its new store on Portland Square, Sutton, this week.

The shop is full of stock donated by the people of Mansfield and Ashfield.

The hospice said: “Thank you to our wonderful community for your donations of such high-quality items. The shop is looking very beautiful! (But) We still need more bag donations of children’s toys and clothes, bric-a-brac and clothing. Donations can be dropped at the hospice, Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm.

“We’ve got some fantastic items and incredible brands in our new shop, including Jaegar, Ted Baker, Karen Millen and Calvin Klein.”

The shop will be officially opened by Coun Jason Zadrozny, leader of Ashfield District Council, on Tuesday afternoon before it launches to the public the following day.

The shop manager is Jill Johnson.
