Six people in Mansfield have received some good news today – they’ve each scooped a cash prize of £1,000 thanks to their postcode.

The Canterbury Close neighbours landed the windfall when NG19 8QE was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery winner.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier sent his congratulations and said: “A big congratulations to our winners in Mansfield today. What a great way to start the month. I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special.”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by The Ramblers, which has received over £8.8 million in funding so far. The charity look after paths and green spaces all over the country, and encourage people to get outside to boost their health and happiness.
