Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a music lover, or just looking for a family-friendly outing, organisers say there’s something for everyone at Warsop Carnival.
The annual event will be held at The Carrs in the town on Sunday, 6th July, from 12noon to 5pm.
It will again feature a music festival running alongside the main event.
Highlights include the opening of the free event by the carnival kings and queens, medieval jousting in the main arena, a fun fair, stalls, refreshments, and much more.
Topping the bill at the music festival is Pink tribute Miss Understood. Other acts include Curfew, Connie and the Rogues, and Newton’s Cradle. The festival will be compered by Nigel Pinnick.
Car parking is available on the opposite side of the River Meden, just off the A60, for £3. Limited disabled parking is free in the nearby church car park.
