The annual Mansfield Music and Drama Festival was another remarkable success, featuring hundreds of artistic performers.
Chairman Paul Bacon said the 101st festival was proud to still attract the highest level of competitors.
It first featured several days of drama, poems, and prose, primarily organised by Mansfield drama teacher Ann Jones.
This was followed by a three-day music segment, where audiences were treated to numerous performances by outstanding pianists, violinists, and other string instrumentalists, followed by more than 70 individual vocalists, mainly young people).
The concluding day of the music section featured school choirs, community choirs, and brass bands.
Paul added: “As chairman, I am grateful to the very dedicated committee, volunteers, and sponsors, who together ensure that this festival continues into the future.”
