A free community fun day hosted by Nottinghamshire Police will take place in Carr Bank Park, Mansfield, on Saturday, 26th July, from 12noon to 3pm.

Visitors will be able to take part in interactive activities, learn about different teams at information stands, and watch police demonstrations.

The Mini Police Fun Day will include police dogs in action, the chance to drive a go-kart while ‘impaired’ wearing beer goggles, check out the force’s underwater dive team’s kit, and challenge fitness levels with the bleep test.

Attendees can also have a go at being a police officer for the day by trying on uniforms and sitting in a police car or test their reflex skills with the reaction time challenge.

Cyclists can have their bicycles security marked as part of a free service to deter thefts.
