About Jerry Green Dog Rescue Jerry Green Dog Rescue exists to provide a safe place for homeless dogs and to seek new loving places for them to live. We pioneer and provide the highest standards of welfare for the dogs in our care. We're proud to say that a Jerry Green dog is always a Jerry Green dog and we are always ready to provide support and care for all our dogs throughout their lives. We have five rescue centres in North and South Lincolnshire, North and East Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. For more than 58 years since Jerry Green founded the charity back in 1961, we have been transforming the lives of abandoned and unwanted dogs by providing shelter and finding them loving homes. Our Nottinghamshire centre was first opened in 1988 as one of the charity’s smallest centres. In 2015 the centre was rebuilt and was launched as our flagship centre.
