Have your say on future activities in Warsop

Posted onPosted on 20th May

Residents in Warsop are being asked to have their say on the future of the area.

Over the summer Vibrant Warsop, Active Nottinghamshire, Warsop Parish Council and Mansfield District Council will be working together with the community of Warsop to find out what activities are taking place locally and discover what activities people would like to be doing.

They said the consultation project would allow them to better understand what is needed in the area to enable people to live healthier, happier and more active lives in the parish.

Their team will be at events in Warsop, including Warsop Carnival on 7th July, the Cricket Festival on 9th July at the John Fretwell Sports Complex, Sookholme, and at the Carr Lane Park Summer Festival in Warsop on 14th August.

Survey points will be set up from 3rd June at the Shed, Warsop Parish Centre and at the Town Hall.

People are being asked to complete a survey and say what would help with their wellbeing.

The initiative will also see focus groups set up as well as meetings with local partners, stakeholders and activity providers.

If residents would prefer to take part online, they can go to a web survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/WarsopCommunitySurvey

A spokesman said: “Please have your say and help shape Warsop’s future wellbeing.”
