Giving back to Boccia England

Posted onPosted on 14th Oct

A managed IT service provider that loves to give something back to its clients in the not-for-profit sector has made a donation to Boccia England.

Boccia England is the national governing body for the Paralympic sport of Boccia. It has a base in Beeston and uses RoundWorks IT, which has offices in Nottingham and Mansfield.

RoundWorks provides everything from IT support, VoIP telephony, super-fast broadband and Office 365 to Boccia England, which relies heavily on cloud technologies to aid remote working. RoundWorks also assisted Boccia during its move to its current premises.

Luke Watts, managing director at RoundWorks, said: “We’re very proud to be working with a number of charities, particularly some of the less-known ones that need a personal touch from a company that cares. We like to give something back and we were delighted to make a donation to Boccia.”

Boccia involves athletes throwing, kicking or using a ramp to propel a ball on to a court with the aim of getting closest to a jack ball.

Boccia England chief executive Chris Ratcliffe said: “RoundWorks has been fantastic. They’re passionate about customer service and whenever we have an issue, we get an almost instant response. They give us peace of mind so that we can get on with what we need to be doing.”
