Posted onPosted on 7th Aug

Projects that inspire people to think differently about waste and resources are invited to apply for a grant from the Reduce, Reuse, Recycling Fund, run by Veolia -Nottinghamshire County Council’s waste contractor).

The community fund is open to not-for-profit community groups, schools and charities in the county and grants of up to £1,000 for projects that help Nottinghamshire to Reduce, Reuse or Recycle waste are available.

Projects and activities could include physical or online workshops, social media campaign support, practical equipment, education activities and awareness raising. This could be anything from swap shop events to repair workshops, community gardens that make use of reused, reclaimed, or recycled materials, food growing, food waste reduction initiatives and composting schemes.

Campaigns to promote reducing, reusing or recycling can also be included.

Applications are considered annually and the next deadline is 28th September.
