Fidler & Pepper finalists in a trio of awards

Posted onPosted on 8th Aug

Fidler & Pepper, the law firm with a focus on Conveyancing, and Wills, is in the running for three awards that reflect its commitment to a “grow your own” approach to developing staff.

The firm provides specialist legal advice both locally and nationally, and it’s in the firm’s DNA to support and develop staff, knowing that “happy staff leads to happy clients”.

Its aim to create a happy, supportive and forward-thinking place to work in is what has now put Fidler & Pepper in the running for three awards recognising its commitment to training and development.

The firm, with offices in Mansfield and Sutton in Ashfield, has recently been selected as a finalist for the prestigious East Midlands Chamber Business Awards Nottinghamshire 2018 in both the Apprentice of the Year (Corey Else) and in the Commitment to People Development category.

That follows on from news that Fidler & Pepper has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Best Training Firm of the Year in the LFS Conveyancing Awards, the biggest and most prestigious event in the calendar for conveyancers.

Mark Slade, Managing Partner, said: “We love what we do, and we’re working hard to create a fantastic place to work because it’s the right thing to do for our people and the business.

“To be a finalist in these awards means we’re being recognised for growing and developing our staff and that means a lot to us.”

Corey Else (pictured) who is a finalist commented: “Fidler & Pepper really cares about its staff and how they can gain qualifications and progress. It’s a place where people want to come to work and do a great job. I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather work.”

Fidler & Pepper, which focuses on Conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters, currently employs almost 90 people and has clients across England. It prides itself both on delivering legal services using modern technology and providing legal advice without the legal jargon.

The Chamber awards finals will be held in September, as will the LFS awards.
