Mansfield Community Hub has been launched to show the wide range of support available across the district during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mansfield District Council has gathered offers of help from local charities and businesses and put it all in one place.

Visit www.mansfield.gov.uk/coronavirus/communityhub for further information and contact details for food and medication deliveries, emotional support, physical and mental activity, domestic assistance, animal welfare, plus links to educational resources.

The page is a work in progress and will be updated regularly. An electronic form will be available on the page later this week so businesses and organisations can let the council know what else they are offering so it can be included.

Nottinghamshire County Council is coordinating volunteer efforts countywide. If you are isolated and need support visit their website or call their Customer Service Centre on 0300 500 8080 between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Mansfield District Council said it was aware of safeguarding issues for vulnerable people and advises those who are receiving services not to pass on sensitive financial information such as bank details or a payment card. And always be sure to follow the government guidelines on social distancing.
