ATTFE College and its community interest company Let’s All Eat, based at Sutton, worked in partnership with Swiftool Engineering, Portland College, chef David Marshall, volunteers and Ashfield District Council to provide 500 chef-cooked Christmas dinners for food parcel recipients in the Sutton area.

Liz Barrett, college principal and a director of Let’s All Eat, said: “In the hardest of times, the impact of what was achieved truly demonstrates the value of strong local partnerships and a shared commitment for helping people within our community, who are currently suffering hardship as a result of the pandemic.”

She added that the “immense project” wouldn’t have been possible initially without without the generosity of Swiftool Engineering, Sutton, which funded the lunch and treat bags.
