The Rotary Club of Warsop, Shirebrook and District is giving clubs and organisations the chance to raise money through its Christmas prize draw.

A spokesman said: “We provide the prizes, all you have to do is sell the tickets.

“If you were to purchase £20-worth of our Christmas Prize Draw tickets, that would give you 50 books of tickets — with 10 tickets in each book. The tickets are priced 25p or £2.50 for a book. If you sold all of the books that would make you £105 for your club or organisation.

“There is no maximum number of tickets that you could sell — it is entirely up to yourselves.

“Last year we supplied around 180 prizes, ranging from £40 Christmas hampers to turkeys, chickens, pork pies, wines and spirits, chocolates and biscuits, toiletries and perfumes, along with small electrical goods and, most importantly, children’s toys.”

The prize draw will take place on Tuesday, 3rd December, at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme, at 8pm.
