Ashfield and Mansfield business looking to win contracts from the public sector are being urged to attend a Meet the Buyer – Public Sector Procurement event at King’s Mill Hospital Conference Centre on Monday, 8th June.

Working in partnership with Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Nottinghamshire County Council, Ashfield and Mansfield district councils and the police, the event, organised through the Invest Ashfield and Mansfield team, will highlight how business can get ready to apply for and win contracts from the public sector.

Millions of pounds are available on contracts covering a variety of goods and services, including IT, facilities, estates, housing, agency working, catering and care services.

Coun Kate Allsop, portfolio holder for economic regeneration at Mansfield District Council, said: “This event is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to find out more about how the procurement process works in the public sector.

“Come along and find out what opportunities your business could tap into and how you might be able to benefit from the millions of pounds-worth of contracts issued by the public sector.”
