Mansfield-based mortgage advice business, Shaw Financial Services, has been named Best Independent Mortgage and Protection Advisory Firm – East Midlands at the 2021 UK Enterprise Awards.

Last year the business was featured in The Times and Daily Telegraph newspapers as one of the top-rated mortgage brokers covering Mansfield and Ashfield.

Shaw Financial Services owner and mortgage expert Lewis Shaw said: “I’m over the moon that we’ve been given this award, especially as there’s a lot of great businesses in the East Midlands that do what we do.

“We only ever wanted to be known as the go-to mortgage broker in Mansfield and Ashfield, but it seems we’re doing a bit better than I thought.”
