Teversal Village Candle Company opens shop and workshop

Posted onPosted on 25th Nov

Teversal Village Candle Company has opened a workshop and shop in the village for the first time.

The red tape was cut by Richard Goad, chairman of Friends of Teversal, Teversal Manor Room Trust, Skegby Patients Participation Group and the newly-proposed Teversal Sports and Recreation Trust.

He said: “I’m very impressed with the way the Teversal Village Candle Company have created a beautiful shop from what was historically used as a toll house, school, chicken hut and as the Scout’s storeroom.”

Owner of the company Chantelle North added: “I am so proud to be at this point, opening our family-run shop and serving the community with handmade candles and gifts.

“It’s been a wonderful turn out from our customers, and we couldn’t have done it without them.”

The shop located on Fackley Road (next to the Carnarvon Pub) in Teversal, sells premium handmade candles and other wax products along with offering high end small retail gifts.

It is open on Fridays and Saturday, from 10am to 5pm, and Sundays, from noon to 4pm.
