Mansfield-based Celebrity Cakes won top prize in the Confectioner Extraordinaire category at the North Notts Food and Drink Awards 2019.

Celebrity Cakes’ director and sugar artist Tina Baird (pictured above) said: “I was really surprised and proud to have won, as the awards represent all that is good about fine dining and excellent customer services in our area.”

Made magazine’s inaugural North Notts Food and Drink Awards, which covered 17 categories, were staged at Worksop College’s Great Hall.

Tina added: “The evening was fantastic, the building set the tone for something special.”

The awards were presented by comedian, author and broadcaster, Dominic Holland, who opened the evening.

Headline sponsor for the event was North Notts BID with Warner Leisure Hotels sponsoring the Confectioner Extraordinaire award.
