Mansfield-based Jephsons Shopfitters has again been accredited under the Safe Contractor scheme.

The interior fit-out specialists came through a rigorous assessment of its health and safety documentation, which was then compared against Safe Contractor Charter Standards.

Jephsons’ operations director Nigel Schofield said the accreditation carried a lot of weight with interior fit-out company’s clients.

“Being awarded Safe Contractor status means being assessed from a health and safety perspective as competent to be a construction contractor, subcontractor and principal contractor in all the areas in which we specialise,” he said.

“This is very important to all our clients, whether they are global brand names, franchisees or bespoke customers.

“It takes a real team effort to achieve accreditation and we are rightly proud of our commitment to maintaining very high standards of health and safety wherever we work.”
