Mansfield-based TIS has been awarded a multi-million pound Ministry of Defence (MoD) contract to support the Royal Navy’s internal communications system.
Under the five-year contract, TIS will provide comprehensive supply and manufacture, repair, post-design support, and core services for critical systems, which play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, security, and operational efficiency of the Royal Navy’s fleet.
Air Commodore Pete Saul, head of Command and Control, Targeting, Navigation and Communications at Defence Equipment and Support, said: “This contract for the in-service support of internal communication systems is vital for ensuring the Navy’s fleets remain at the cutting edge of operational readiness.
