Fidler & Pepper, trusted experts in wills, probate and trusts, have been shortlisted for yet another prestigious award.

The firm, with offices in Mansfield and Sutton-In-Ashfield, is in the Solicitor Firm of the Year (Regional – Midlands) category of the British Wills & Probate Awards.

Richard Howard, who heads up Fidler & Pepper’s private client department, said: “This is a complex area of law and one that is often confusing for members of the public.

“We see it as our role to help educate people on why it is so important to have a Will and to get things right, both from a legal perspective and in terms of a person’s final wishes.

The awards take place on October 18 at the Ardencote Hotel, Warwickshire, and have been organised by Today’s Wills and Probate.

Broadcaster and journalist Jennie Bond will host the awards evening.

She said: “I’m delighted to host these awards at a time which is rather pertinent to me as my mother died at the end of last year. Her death re-emphasised to me the importance of keeping your will up to date, and the value of the expertise of probate solicitors. So it will be lovely to meet, and reward, some of the people who guide us all through this difficult area of life.”
