The caring owners of a gym that opened in Mansfield last year have offered NHS and emergency workers free access to its online section.

The On Demand section of RS Fitness Studios’ website is packed with not only online video workouts, home workout plans and recipes, but also life management plans.

The owners of the gym at St Crispin Court, Stockwell Gate, are Ruby Taylor Witton and Dom Witton.

They said: “With gyms shutting down all over the country we thought we would offer our services free of charge to NHS staff and emergency services within Mansfield and the immediate area — a totally free pass to our On Demand service during this trying time whilst everything is closed and people are self-isolating.

“Many of these amazing people would normally go to a gym but they are now closed, leaving a gap in their workout / keeping fit routine. And they are, probably wondering what they are going to do.

“So we decided what better way to show our support and thanks for their tireless hard work than to offer full access for themselves so that they can keep in shape.”

The owners said with children off school and many adults off work they thought it could be fun for partners or their children to take part in exercises safely at home, especially for energetic youngsters stuck indoors.

Ruby and Dom have also offered free access to their ‘at home’ content on the website and Facebook page to everyone to help keep families fit and active at home.

They said it was part of their company goal of helping the local community exercise more.

They added: “If anyone is struggling please reach out and join our RS HomeFIT Group, for free, where we’ll help anyone and everyone.”
