An independent, family-owned Nottinghamshire business has opened a carpet store in Kirkby, its fourth outlet in the county.

Customers placing their first flooring order at The Little Carpet Company will get a 20% discount.

The shop, at Unit 4, Kingsway, Kirkby, follows the opening of stores in Gedling, Mapperley and Wollaton.

Owner Michelle Breslin said: “We treat every customer how I expect to be treated, so no job is too big or too small.

“We pay attention to the little details because we know that’s what keeps our customers happy.”

The company supports charities, including Age Concern and SSAFA, which helps Servicemen and women, veterans and their families.

The Little Carpet Company said it dealt with major brands in the flooring industry and offered one of the largest selections of carpets, vinyl, LVT, woods and laminate flooring in Nottinghamshire.

Samples can be borrowed from the store and measurements taken at customers’ homes.
