Business group supports youngster’s charity single Imagination

Posted onPosted on 18th Dec

Businessmen and women at the final virtual Mansfield and Ashfield 2020 breakfast meeting of 2020 ended the year with something a little different.

They met Forest Town youngster Poppy Hickman, who has made a charity single, called Imagination, in aid of the Rainbows Hospice for children and young people.

2020 thanked Bradley Knight and Russ Stevens Drake, from DPS Studios, who created the charity single, for helping them to meet Poppy and playing Imagination.

The song can be downloaded for 79p here and all money raised will go to Rainbows or you can donate directly to Rainbows here.

2020 also thanked Richard Fuller and the team at County Battery Services, Kirkby, for a presentation around ‘Lean and Continuous Improvement’.

Members were reminded about the #makingITpossible campaign – more details here.

The campaign aims to get 50 supporters and when they achieve this the Crowdfund team will match whatever money is in the pot.

The Just Networking sessions resume on Thursday, 14th January at 8.30am and Tuesday, 19th January at 12.30pm.

The next breakfast meeting will be on 28th January 2021 at the usual time of 8am. Hopkins Solicitors will run through a quick legal health check given the changes occurring due to Covid-19 and Brexit. Book a place here.
