Business jumps at the chance to help this Christmas

Posted onPosted on 8th Nov

Local trampoline park, i-Jump, has announced a partnership with national charity, Family Action, this Christmas.

i-Jump will donate at least 20 stockings full of gifts to the charity, whose local base is at the Mansfield Woodhouse Children’s Centre

Family Action will distribute the stockings to local children who otherwise might not receive any presents on Christmas Day morning.

For those having a pre-Christmas clear-out and hoping to donate to i-Jumps collection, the trampoline park will be accepting all gifts until Thursday, 15th November.

The charity has asked specifically for toys, colouring packs and toiletries and has provided a ‘wow’ list, which details the items that are most useful and in demand.

To encourage people to dig deep and donate presents, i-Jump has promised to award the first 50 ‘wow’ item donors with an i-Jump voucher. The full ‘wow’ list is available at i-jump.co.uk

Stephi Grayson, operations manager of i-Jump, said: “We really wanted to make sure that we were helping a good cause this holiday season and Family Action is a great charity to get behind.

“By offering special rewards for people, we hope to encourage lots and lots of donations! We’ll be busy little elves getting everything together and ready for collection on the 15th November, when our stockings will be donated to children across Mansfield.”

The ‘wow’ list includes small soft cuddly toys, small musical instruments, dolls, hair accessories, Playdoh, skipping ropes, building blocks, a Slinky, finger puppets, small interactive toys, play cars/trucks/boats, jigsaws, wrist watches, bead jewellery/bead kits, and playing cards/Top Trumps.
