Achievement recognised at celebration

Posted onPosted on 5th Dec

The ATTFE College based at Sutton has celebrated the achievements of the Essential Employability Skills learners.

The celebration saw numerous awards handed out to learners by their tutors. Many certificates were for achievement made since the beginning of their course and also the positive attitudes learners have towards their learning.

The event raised £116.91 to go to Save the Children and Mind Charity.

One award was presented to Susie Johnson, who wrote about her achievement at the college and spoke at the event about how going to college and progressing through courses had a positive impact on her life. She has gained new friends and skills, which has benefited her confidence hugely.

Principal Liz Barrett said: “What a wonderful event, organised by the EES Team at ATTFE College. It’s wonderful to see the outcomes of what learners have been up to on their course.

“Both learners and staff work extremely hard and go above and beyond for both the college and learners. It’s amazing to see the positive impact we have on our learners.”

The college has a range of employability skills courses to help people get back into work. More information is at www.attfe.org.uk
