Mansfield Swimming Club introduced some of its youngest swimmers to take part in the beginners’ width at its annual club championships.

They were joined in the 25m competition pool at Water Meadows by club captains Lewis, Charlie-May, Brendan and Abigail.

A spokesman said: “Well done to our rising stars of the future, Matilda, Catelynn, Scarlett, Aiden, Elise, Daniel, Harry and Ewan.

“The swimmers were amazing and enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere being cheered on all the way by their teammates and spectators.”
