Half-term fun for families in Mansfield

Posted onPosted on 17th Oct

Ghoulish Halloween fun will be among the family activities on offer at Mansfield Market during the school half-term holiday.

Ideas to keep youngsters and the whole family entertained for the week can be found in Mansfield District Council’s latest What’s On guide.

A range of free and low-cost activities are being laid on by the council, Mansfield Museum, Mansfield Palace Theatre, Mansfield District Leisure Trust and Four Seasons Shopping Centre.

The guide includes details about Mansfield’s Car Show on Sunday, 22 October, spooky Halloween fun on Mansfield Market with a ghost hunt and movie screening, ArtBeat craft activities at Mansfield Museum, a family-friendly show at Mansfield Palace Theatre, plus lots of other sports and crafts.

Coun Stewart Rickersey, Portfolio Holder for Corporate Services, said: “There is something for everyone happening this half-term in Mansfield so don’t stay at home – why not get out and enjoy some quality time with your families.”

The guide gives the full schedule including dates, times and locations and is available to download from www.mansfield.gov.uk/whatson

The council’s Christmas What’s On guide will be merged with the My Mansfield magazine and delivered to homes across the district from 6 November. You can also pick up a copy from community venues or download it online.
