Three team members at independent financial services broker Midlands Asset Finance are taking part in a charity challenge to raise money for two local organisations which support the homeless.

Antony Kirk, Hayley Chapman and Ricky McNeil, from South Normanton-based Midlands Asset Finance, will be sleeping rough at Notts County Football Club’s Meadow Lane, on 13 October, to raise cash for Nottingham-based Emmanuel House and The Friary. The trio hope to raise at least their target of £1,000.

The challenge will form part of the national CEO Sleepout campaign, which will see thousands of business leaders from across the UK sleep outside for one night during 2016 to raise money for local homelessness charities.

Official figures from the Department for Communities and Local Government, released in autumn 2015, showed a 30% increase in the number of people living on the streets last year when compared to the year before.

Midlands Asset Finance, which is based off Junction 28 of the M1, helps SMEs to source funding. It specialises in arranging funding for all types of asset finance and property transactions, along with refinance and cash-raising deals for clients who need support in releasing cash or reducing monthly commitments.

It operates in all industry sectors, with particular expertise in the construction, waste management and recycling, manufacturing, engineering, haulage and IT sectors.

“No sum is too small. Every penny will go towards a hot meal, a bed for the night or just a hot cup of coffee for a vulnerable individual in Nottingham.”
