Mansfield Manor Hotel has been awarded a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence.

TripAdvisor gives a Certificate of Excellence to “accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers.”

Paul Andrews, co-owner of the Grade II-listed hotel, which is located on the edge of Carr Bank Park, said: “This is truly a great thing for the hotel, for the staff and for the guests, who can be assured of great service when they visit.

“Over the years, with time, money and the right team, the hotel has changed dramatically, and we have built something we are very proud of. To see that Tripadvisor has given us this certificate is the icing on the cake.”

Tripadvisor is one of the world’s biggest online review sites, where people leave reviews of places they have visited, such as tourist attractions or hotels.

A recent review of Mansfield Manor read: “We stayed at this charming hotel recently, the reason for the stay was to see the hotel at 1st hand with a view to holding our wedding there. We was so impressed with the standard of the room, the staff and the grounds. Will we be having the wedding here? Yes I think we will. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s a hidden gem.”
