Teenager gears up for Miss England semi-final with sponsorship support

A local business has shown its support for an Ashfield teenager as she flies the flag for Mansfield at the Miss England 2017 competition.

Chloe-Rose Adkin, of Sutton, is being sponsored by Ron Brooks Toyota and Suzuki Mansfield for the semi-finals of the Miss England contest on Sunday, 4th June.

If she is successful, Chloe will then progress to the Miss England national final at the Resorts World, Birmingham, from 12th to 14th July 2017. The winner will represent England in the Miss World final.

Chloe, who was thrilled to secure the sponsorship from the family-run business, said she felt privileged to be representing Mansfield at the event and wanted to make the town and her sponsor proud.

The Ashfield School, Kirkby, student, who is currently sitting her GCSE exams, is one of the youngest competitors at the Miss England event.

Ron Brooks centre principal Mike Lane said: “We are thrilled to be able to sponsor Chloe for this year’s Miss England competition.

“As a locally-owned family-run business we are always pleased to see young people representing Mansfield and showing the town in a good light. We wish her all the best for the upcoming semi-finals.”

The Miss England competition is supporting Miss World’s Beauty With A Purpose charity, which helps disadvantaged children all around the world.

Other charities it is backing are CORAM and Variety, The Children’s Charity and Landmarks Specialist College, Sheffield.
