There is still time to nominate your unsung sporting heroes in the Mansfield Sports Recognition Awards 2016.

Mansfield District Council, in association with the Armchair Club, is seeking nominations in ten categories before the deadline of 11th November.

People’s achievements between 1st November 2015 and 31st October 2016 will be recognised.

The categories are:​

Junior (18 and under) sportsperson of the year.
Junior team of the year.
​Junior disabled sportsperson of the year.
Junior sports leader of the year.
​Club of the year.
​Sportsperson of the year.
Disabled sportsperson of the year.
Team of the year.
Coach of the year.
Volunteer of the year (including referees, officials, administrators).
