The Breast Care Unit at King’s Mill Hospital has received a cheque for £4,130 from Soroptimist International, Mansfield & District Club.

The unit was nominated by Kathy Kings as the chosen focus for her presidential term in 2015-16.

Kathy is pictured presenting the cheque to Mr Jahan, Breast Care Unit consultant, at a club meeting with members, who all contributed to a successful year of fundraising.

The donation will be used to buy equipment.

Mr Jahan gave a talk on the work of the service and the positive outcomes of screening and early intervention/treatment.
