Staff at Tallents Solicitors in Mansfield took part in Cupcake Day, supporting the work of the Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s leading dementia charity.

After baking more than 100 cupcakes, they raised over £100 towards helping to raise awareness of the fight against dementia.

Elizabeth Rees, a solicitor at Tallents, said: “As part of the private client team, we understand the devastating effects dementia can have on a family.

“That’s why we help people take control of their future with Lasting Powers of Attorney, help clients deal with the Office of the Public Guardian and can also offer advice on later-life nursing care.

“Cupcakes may be small but every penny raised from the charity bake will help the Alzheimer’s Society find a cure for dementia, find vital services and campaign for the rights of people with dementia.”
