MP Ben Bradley marked a year of being in office in the Mansfield constituency by taking part in a litter pick.

As part of the Clean Up Mansfield Day, he took his eight-person action team (pictured) to Pleasley after being made aware of a litter problem by villagers.

“I’m grateful to the residents who brought the litter problem in Pleasley to my attention,” he said.

“There is also a group of local residents in Pleasley who go out and litter pick voluntarily, so I want to say a big well done to them for all their efforts as well.”

Ben said he hoped to make a litter pick across different areas of the constituency a more regular event in the future.
