Getting patients back to fitness is one of the aims of the therapy services at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton, and new exercise equipment in the physiotherapy department will help that.

Pictured are some of the Amazon Breast Cancer Support Group committee trying out the equipment, which was bought with an £8,0000 donation from the charity and a £13,000 donation from the hospital’s Daffodil Café and trolley volunteers.

Post-operative breast cancer patients are just some of the recovering patients who will benefit from the opportunity to take part in physiotherapy courses using the equipment.
