Members of Girlguiding Nottinghamshire have invited the community to join them for a day of fun and games when they stage their annual take-over of Mansfield Market Place on Saturday.

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Young Leaders from Mansfield, Rainworth and Blidworth will be busy running stalls and activities from 9am to 4pm. The emphasis is on raising funds for local units and on encouraging potential new adult volunteers to find out how they can help.

“We are very excited about showing how brilliant it is to be part of Girlguiding,” said Mansfield Division Commissioner Sarah Clarkson, who also runs 3rd Rainworth Brownies. “And I’m sure it will demonstrate that our grown-up members really do have as much fun as the girls.”
