Fun way to help charity

Mansfield promotional merchandise and business gifts company Pellacraft is to run a competition to guess the number of balloons in an Audi.

The stunt was arranged as it prepares to promote Promotional Products week, a national campaign organised every year by the British Promotional Merchandise Association to help demonstrate the power and effectiveness of using promotional goods as an integral part of a marketing campaign.

Pellacraft will park the vehicle in its car park on Hermitage Lane Industrial Estate and will encourage employees of other local businesses to guess the number of balloons inside. The competition will also be used to help raise awareness of pancreatic cancer with participants asked to make a voluntary donation.

Commenting, Pellacraft Director, Sam Pella, said: “There’s no better way to make a lasting impression than to make people smile. Whilst the competition is also lots of fun, there is a meaningful message for businesses about how using promotional merchandise can boost sales and increase profits by improving the effectiveness of a marketing campaign message.”

The competition will be promoted on the Pellacraft website and via social media between 12 to 19 September. The winner will be announced at the end of the week with the nearest correct guess winning £1,000 worth of promotional merchandise to help promote their brand.
