Expansion at PR and digital agency Dakota Digital

Posted onPosted on 13th Jul

Mansfield-based boutique PR and digital agency Dakota Digital has cemented its growth by taking on three new members of staff and opening a second office.

Following on from a rebrand earlier this year, the latest phase of development is part of the agency’s ambitious growth strategy.

The three new recruits will be based in Dakota Digital’s town centre office.

The first is broadcast journalist Sharon Robson, who joined as agency relationship manager. Sharon has extensive experience creating content for multiple platforms, including print, radio, television and online.

As a former regional reporter for British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), she has worked alongside command and personnel across the British Army and Royal Air Force, as well as working with clients in both the corporate and charity sectors.

Copywriter Emma Pearson joined Dakota Digital from Tribe in Nottingham. She has extensive B2B and B2C experience and will work directly with a number of Dakota Digital’s premium brands.

Magazine journalism graduate Thomas Bee completed the new recruits. He will support the copywriting team, specialising in articles, blogging and social media content creation.

Dakota Digital’s second office, within the same building as its main office, will function as a dedicated meeting and conference venue.

Agency operations director Chris Woods said: “We continue to grow at a very steady rate.

“Finding hard-working talent is a challenge so we are ecstatic to announce three strong hires and to be able to continue offering opportunities to talented graduates.

“The new office space is testament to our ambition.”

Managing director Rebecca Appleton added: “Having dedicated conferencing and meeting space means we can continue to focus on working in partnership with our clients and growing the agency with new business wins.”

In addition to its work with small businesses and entrepreneurs, the business also works with household names such as Listerine, Benadryl, Neutrogena, Calpol, Acuvue, Sudafed and Aveeno and has worked with England rugby player James Haskell, pop idol Gareth Gates and TV chef Damian Wawrzyniak.
